Smartli is an Israeli-based start-up that has developed an innovative automated grocery shopping system. The system uses special sensors to track which items are missing from your frige. It then proceeds to generate a fully personalized shopping list and sees to it that the groceries are delivered directly to your door at a time that is convenient for you.
Once the system takes an inventory of the groceries in your fridge, it then uses an advanced data mining engine that looks at your consumption and figures out what and how much you need to buy. It then combines what you have and what you need and comes up with a shopping list, before setting up the delivery of the required products to your door.
Smartli is the brainchild of entrepreneur Iri Zohar, who is looking to apply the Internet of Things to the world of grocery shopping.
