Sowunmi Explains How Smart Tracking Wallet Finders Work

Jordan Sowunmi used to have a big problem with misplacing his wallet, but that's no longer an issue thanks to his discovery of smart tracking wallet finders. Aside from trend and wallet hunting, Sowunmi recently completed his final year at the University of Western Ontario, double majoring in Political Science and English. He's also a competitive stand up comedian who has interests in writing and analyzing gangsta rap.
How do you define cool?
I define cool as being cutting edge, ahead of trends, but still mixing in what's currently popular with some new stuff.
What is your favorite trend and why?
My favorite trend is smart tracking, and I have a great example: wallet-loss altering devices. It's a device that you attach to your wallet or cell phone and if or when you lose it (and chances are if you're like me, you will lose it), you can look it up on your computer or iPad and find out where your phone or wallet is.
What is your secret to uncovering the best trends?
My secret to uncovering the best trends, is when you find a good trend or something unique, you stick with that site. Check it constantly, but keep it a secret too. That's important.
What's you favorite thing about working at Trend Hunter?
My favorite thing about working at Trend Hunter is definitely the people that you meet. I spent the last two years of my university life trying to make friends who were into the same things that I was into. I couldn't really find them. Then I came to Trend Hunter and I met seven other people who were into similar things and different things than me.
How do you reset to be creative?
The way I reset to be creative is I read: I read a ton. I try to go outside, I take a walk, clear my head, maybe listen to some podcasts or music. I listen to other people talk on the subway, it's a favorite thing of mine. It's creepy but I like it.
What is your biggest accomplishment?
My favorite accomplishment in life happens every year when I make it to a new birthday. Since I have to continue living, I never know what is going to happen, and every birthday is like a new surprise.
What did you want to be when you were growing up?
When I was a kid I always wanted to be a writer, journalist or comedian. These days I'm doing a bit of each.
Make an awesome prediction for the future?
A trend I see for the future is socially conscious businesses. There's a lot right now, but it's becoming more a responsibility to consumers. This generation is really involved and they at least like to think that they want to support businesses that treat employees and the environment well. I see in the future most businesses are going to have to do that.
What advice would you give to the business world?
My advice to the business world would be to HIRE ME! Seriously.

I would really recommend this internship to people who are interested in social media, or journalism or video editing. Not to sound cliche, this internship changed my life.
