The StethoMe is a high-tech smart stethoscope, designed by a group of scientists working out of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poland, that aims to make it possible for users to and check a child's pulse without always having to take a trip to the doctor's office.
This smart stethoscope can be used in conjunction with a smartphone app that guides adults on how to place the stethoscope on their child's body. The device then registers lung sound, heartbeat and body temperature, before displaying the results alongside pertinent alerts about the child's health.
By placing children's health in the hands of their parents, the StethoMe smart stethoscope promises faster intervention in the case of arising health issues.
