Somfy is a smart outdoor camera that delivers high definition imagery and boasts night vision. "Designed to [be] the first line of security for [the] home," the device detects motion. It sends a notification and a high-res video to the user's smartphone. As a last resort, Somfy has a built-in 110 dB siren that can be triggered directly from the mobile application.
To minimize false alarms, the smart outdoor camera allows the user to customize the radius for motion-detection. In addition, Somfy is made to be exceptionally easy to manage — the device deactivates automatically upon the owner's arrival.
Like any smart outdoor camera, Somfy is weather-resistant and tamperproof. It can also be paired up with an existing lighting system to deter intruders and illuminate the owner's path home.
