The new designs are wellness lamps, meaning they don't change color, but provide a temperature-changing glows, with a varying white light settings which range from a calming, candle-lit glow, to a slightly harsher bluish-white glow.
Much like the rest of the line, the Phillip Hue smart lamp designs are compatible with most smart home technologies, like Alexa, IFTTT, Nest, Apple HomeKit or the Google Assistant. The ambient lights can be brightened or dimmed throughout the day to meet a person's evolving needs.
