The 'mydbell' smart doorbell takes a more upstream approach to the annoyance of missing a delivery or visitor because you didn't hear the doorbell. The 'mydbell' works by sending a notification to your smartphone whenever someone rings the bell. This functionality can be paired with or without the use of a traditional ringing alarm within the home to increase the capabilities of the system.
The 'mydbell' can also be used by those who are hard of hearing to provide a physical stimulation rather than an auditory one. Voting mode allows users to choose who should answer the door if someone is busy to prevent visitors from being missed because everyone is busy.
The 'mydbell' smart doorbell is currently available for preorder on Kickstarter.
