For all of its grace and elegance, the Slinky Chair has a rather casual and childlike name. Inspired by Japanese calligraphy, it boasts a sleek and sculptural aesthetic that is both practical and gorgeous to look upon. Yet in spite of the fact that the Slinky Chair embodies the traditional written form of the Japanese language, it has a futuristic appeal as well.
Designed by Infiniti Design, the Slinky Chair has a cantilevered form that is cast out of aluminum and covered in a polyurethane coating. Available in three different finishes including red, black and white, the Slinky Chair flares out at the base for sturdier support, not to mention a stylish finish.
