Ice cream is often considered to be a late-night indulgence and Nightfood is playing off this idea in its new sleep-friendly ice creams. Launching in February 2019, this new line of ice cream will feature eight tried-and-true flavors like chocolate, vanilla, chocolate chip cookie dough, and decaf coffee, all of which are tailored to promote better rest. While sleep-friendly ice creams will not have the same effect as an Ambien or sleep aid, it will help induce restful sleep in a less disruptive way.
The sleep-friendly ice creams all feature a balance of fiber, protein, and less sugar. The flavors were all crafted alongside scientific advisors, along with nutritionists, and sleep therapists. The sleep-inducing ingredients are also all natural and include cherries with high levels of melatonin and chocolate chunks made of Chocomine.
