Train Suite Shiki-shima is the name of an all-new sleeper train from the East Japan Railway Co. that will help travelers in Japan get to their destination in the utmost comfort and style.
The exterior of the train boasts a luxurious gold finish and cut-out details, which matches the opulent interior spaces of the train. The interior carriages includes tatami mats, bathtubs, steam-bent wood sofas and an immersive viewing car specifically for taking in the stunning scenery.
The new sleeper train recently embarked with 33 passengers upon its first run across northern Japan from Tokyo to Hokkaido as part of a four-day trip. Although the costs of a trip on this new sleeper train are high, reportedly tickets have already been sold through to March of next year.
