Its navigation solutions focus on situational and spatial awareness for machines. Through the use of artificial intelligence (AI)-powered localization, as well as a set of advanced AI algorithms, Slamcore solves three main problems for machine navigation.
Many consumer robots use simple forms of navigation such as cameras, proximity sensors, or even hit detectors. Slamcore believes many of these solutions are insufficient when compared to its service. Slamcore provides machines with the means of knowing where the machine is, what surrounds the machine, and where the machine is in regards to its surroundings. This allows robots or machines to nimble navigate more cluttered environments through the power of AI.
In a Series A round of funding, Slamcore raised $16 million USD to scale its production and meet the demand of its services from potential and existing partners.
