Skin Care Brand Aesop's New Store Was Inspired by James Bond Films

Skin care brand Aesop has offered its consumers a unique in-store experience, after partnering with architecture and interior design firm Snøhetta to produce a space inspired by the opening scenes of James Bond films.
The gradient rose-colored walls help spotlight a central column and twelve arches, which curve upward to create "intimate zones" for product consultations. Each zone is centered around a sink, which appears to be hovering in mid-air, eliciting a sense of mystery. A shallow, reflective pool surrounds the sink and reflects onto the walls, creating a glamorous shimmering effect. The entire space is comprised of warm colors, contrasted by steel and concrete detailing and geometric components making for an elegant and dynamic in-store space.
