Bernheimer Architecture Designs New Malin+Goetz Store

Brooklyn design studio Bernheimer Architecture has designed a new store for skincare brand Malin+Goetz. The lounge is complete in a eucalyptus hue and it is nestled in the back of the Silver Lake location. The retail space was created to honor the "city's long-established history as the center of the film industry' as explained by the firm.

Previously, the location was an auto body repair shop and some of the art deco facade was retained with its new transformation. The studio speaks about the design process, noting "In much the same way that the briefcase in Pulp Fiction served as a lure for its characters, its interior glowing but never quite revealing its contents to the audience, the store's rear lounge attracts customers to discover what else might be out of sight."
