You've got to have balls to come up with an ad like this.

In the comic advert, an ice skating man dressed up in a testicle suit is continually checked by a hockey player, getting slammed against the rink's boards and smashed around the rink.

It's meant to promote testicular cancer awareness. The "Check Your Balls" campaign was created by Struck in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Implications - With society so saturated with advertisements, consumers have gradually become desensitized to traditional designs and images. These consumers aren't reading into brand messages, and require more shocking types of advertising to affect them. Campaigns that utilize publicity stunts have the advantage of being memorable and interactive. Companies should consider this alternative to traditional advertising as a means of appealing to their target markets.
