Siri AI is Apple’s rebuilt virtual assistant, introduced at WWDC 2026 as part of Apple Intelligence. The updated system moves beyond simple voice commands by supporting more natural conversations, understanding context across multiple requests, and accessing information from apps including Messages, Mail, Calendar, and Photos. It can also interpret content displayed on screen, allowing users to continue conversations without repeatedly providing the same information. Apple says the assistant remembers conversational context, making interactions feel more fluid across devices and services.
Apple has expanded the assistant beyond voice interactions with support for typed conversations through a dedicated app. Conversations sync through iCloud, enabling continuity across iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, and Vision Pro. The assistant can also perform chained actions across apps, allowing users to complete multiple tasks from a single request. Apple demonstrated workflows involving travel details, weather information, calendar updates, and messaging.
