The Sipro Home Robot was designed as a guardian for children with special needs, as it keeps them safe while offering them a greater sense of independence and autonomy.
The intelligent social robot is equipped with four integrated microphones that can differentiate noises from voices and detect where the voices came form. This means, that parents or a care taker can be notified if Sipro hears a child's cry. The robot also features an integrated air purifier and can return itself to a charging station when its batteries are low.
Sipro was designed with numerous entertainment functions to ensure that a child feels comfortable around it. One of these functions is an integrated projector which enables a child to watch movies, TV shows and even play games.
