Low-Fat Roasted Potatoes Chips

Simply Roasted Secures Deal With Upscale Supermarket, Booths

Snack brand Simply Roasted has partnered with high-end supermarket chain Booths to sell its non-high in fat, salt, or sugar (HFSS) potatoes crisps. The deal will see Booths selling the brand's range of roasted chips in 27 stores throughout northern England. Flavors offered by the retailer will include Sea Salt & Cider Vinegar, Black Truffle, Sea Salt, Mature Cheddar & Red Onion.

For those unfamiliar, SImply Roasted created chips using a patented roasting process that allows the brand to use whole slices of potatoes while creating crisps that contain 50% fat and 25% less salt than its traditional supermarket counterparts.

"This makes them the perfect partner for Simply Roasted crisps with our world-first new crisp cooking process that allows us to deliver all the taste of indulgent crisps while being compliant for HFSS," said Rhys Harvey, Chief Commercial Officer at Simply Roasted.
