As Engadget reports, Michael Leggett, a former Gmail designer lead, has created Simplify, a free extension for Chrome that streamlines the user experience, making it easier to navigate the web version of Google's email service.
The Simplify extension reorders different features to be more intuitive, with the implementation of drop-down menus and sidebars saving space, while key features like 'Delete' are featured at the top bar instead. Additionally, the extension "eliminates color-coded labels, and places the create new mail button in the bottom right corner, where the new mail window opens."
Completely free to download with no ads featured, Simplify is a great option for Gmail users who are frustrated with certain aspects of the email service's user design.
