Email Subscription Management Features

Gmail Launched a New Subscriptions Tab for Recurring Emails

Gmail’s Manage Subscriptions view provides a centralized interface across web, Android, and iOS platforms for users to review and control all active mailing-list and newsletter subscriptions in a single place. Accessible from the side navigation menu under “More” on desktop and beneath the Trash option on mobile, the feature displays each sender alongside the number of messages received over recent weeks, sorted by frequency. Selecting a sender reveals all related emails, and a one-click “Unsubscribe” button sends a removal request on the user’s behalf, eliminating the need to open individual messages or locate footer links.

This subscription-management tool complements Gmail’s existing spam-filtering and one-click unsubscribe capabilities by streamlining bulk decluttering and inbox organization. Unsubscribed senders’ future emails are routed to Spam, while Gmail continues to block over 99.9% of unwanted mail and employs AI-based defenses to reduce scam messages by roughly 35%. The Manage Subscriptions view is rolling out to select countries now, with broader availability planned for all personal and Google Workspace accounts in the coming weeks.
