The Simon Swipe game is an up-to-date version of the Simon game that was extremely popular in the 70s, 80s and 90s. Children everywhere wanted to play this memory game. Slapping the colors was hours of excitement while hearing the beeping noise encouraging you to go faster.
Hasbro has created the Simon Swipe game in a more modernized manner. It now includes a touchscreen swipe. Now you need to remember when to swipe the colors instead of slapping the buttons down. VP of marketing for Hasboro Gaming Jonathan Berkowitz told Mashable, "The Simon Swipe game combines favorite elements of the classic game like colors, lights and sounds with today’s touch technology and 'swipe' action to offer kids a bold new way to play."
The biggest difference between the old Simon game and new Simon Swipe game is the steering wheel-like design. You now have a place to hold your hands which will make playing the ‘Party’ level much easier. The new Simon Swipe also comes equipped with three play options including classic, extreme and levels.
