Photographer Hanna Seweryn’s 'Be a Woman' silhouette photography series is full of dramatic and alluring captures that show a woman seated at a small table as she carries out different activities. Throughout the series, the table changes from vanity to reading table, to a place where the woman can place her tea.
The images are all contained within a square frame, which makes the focus solely on the woman and her movements. The compositions are set up behind a screen that is backlit, which creates the hazy shadows of the woman and gives the whole scene a ghostly quality. To make the series even more mysterious, they are all devoid of color and have a grayish tone to them.
