Sharp Poketomo is a pocket-sized AI-powered companion created to make life more fun by sharing joy or simply being there to ease moments of loneliness. The first edition of Poketomo takes the form of a meerkat, and it is set to be available as both a tangible robot that stands about 12 centimeters tall and an AI character via an app, which can be spoken to or texted. Poketomo enables personalized voice-based conversations, remembers what it's told, places visited, and it expresses itself with gestures and a belly that changes colors.

On X (formerly Twitter,) Sharp started a manga series featuring the daily life of a character called Nanami and her experiences living with Poketomo.
