The Shanghai Tang Silk Road Advertisements Feature Wedding Styles

The 2014 Shanghai Tang "Silk Road" advertisements showcase the upscale label's latest fragrance. Model Du Juan displays the blend in the campaign via black and white imagery, pairing pale images with a dark backdrop.

Photographer Mario Testino opted for this monochromatic display of chic perfume. The pictures speak to chic wedding motifs as Juan sported a lace facial veil, revealing bits of her face through a series of small holes.

The dainty bottle that Silk Road comes in matches the feminine notes present in these snapshots. With a simplistic gold top and clear bottle, the design calls for a clean, crisp aesthetic, hence Testino's capture of Juan's light skin, neutral lip tone and smoky eye shadow.
