Samsung Display, the sub-label of the South Korean technology giant Samsung presented its new Sensor OLED during Display Week 2023 in Los Angeles. It is the world's inaugural OLED display that has its own integrated fingerprint scanner -- which is able to help monitor users' blood pressure and heart rate.
The Sensor OLED is also a health assistant that is comprehensively designed to help users measure other metrics. This includes tracking sleep patterns and stress levels to help create essential data that is then used to aid users' overall health and wellness. The screen features vital features integrated into the panel including the OPD, which is a light-sensitive sensor that captures the fingerprints and heart rate data.
