Selfissimo! is one of two new iOS "appsperiments" from Google that applies experimental technologies to the world of mobile photography. Selfissimo! app is also available for Android users, introducing an automated selfie photographer that captures images when a pose is detected. At the end of a photoshoot, Selfissimo! provides users with a black and white contact sheet, where individual images or the entire shoot can be saved and shared as desired.
Since the taking of a photo can often interfere with the poses one is able to capture by themselves, this automated selfie-taking app gives users the chance to relax and let their mobile device pick up on a lack of movement when it's time for a photo to be taken for a more natural result—that doesn't involve holding one's mobile device out at an arm's length.
