SeeChange Taps Diebold Nixdorf to Create AI Checkout Tools

SeeChange Technologies, a company known for its retail-focused computer vision AI technology, has announced a strategic partnership with Diebold Nixdorf, a global leader in retail consumer and staff journey solutions, to introduce an innovative series of AI-powered self-checkout solutions.

The collaboration leverages Diebold Nixdorf’s Vynamic Smart Vision technology, which incorporates SeeWare machine learning to accurately identify fruits, vegetables, baked goods, and other items lacking barcodes.

By utilizing SeeWare's edge-to-cloud AI capabilities, Diebold Nixdorf is enhancing its self-checkout systems with sophisticated product recognition features, significantly reducing friction at checkout points and elevating the overall customer experience.
