To enhance those special moments in life, one designer has created a scented memory maker. Charline Ronzon-Jaricot recognizes the power of the olfactory system in helping the brain to register, record and recollect events in a person's life. The odor in the air on a particularly special day, or the smell of a loved one's clothes or hair can help cement that instant in one's cranial cache.
To help bring a more memorable element to an emotion or occurrence, the artist designed a gorgeous handmade glass globe with a unique perfume stored inside. The beautiful transparent orb sits on a metal stand upon a round tray, which provides a place for a plaster puck to rest. In the event of a treasured experience, the user can break the tip of the vessel, causing one drip of the liquid aroma to fall and be absorbed by the stone.
