The Jimmy Fallon Saved by the Bell Reunion is Nostalgic

— February 5, 2015 — Pop Culture
Last night's Saved by the Bell reunion aired on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. Zach, Kelly, Slater, Jesse and Mr. Belding all made an appearance in the skit and hung out in the halls of Bayside High with a new friend named Jimmy.

While Mark-Paul Gosselaar who plays Zach looked like a more distinguished version of his former self, Mario Lopez and Elizabeth Berkley who play on-screen lovers A.C. Slater and Jesse Spano looked as if they hadn't aged at all.

Tiffani Thiessen who played Kelly Kapowski also made an appearance and revealed she was pregnant with Zach's baby. The Saved by the Bell reunion video poked fun at Elizabeth Hurley's infamous role in Showgirls and suggested the gang's new friend Jimmy was heading to New York to become a comedian. The skit also included a re-enactment of Jesse's famous caffeine pill freakout.

The viral video has the show's die-hard fans in a frenzy and ends on a nostalgic note despite of not include Dustin Diamond and Lark Voorhies who were known for their Screetch and Lisa Turtle roles.
