Smartphone users in Korea are now able to cast their Snapchats, Instagram Stories and other vertically oriented apps and content onto the big screen with with use of the Samsung Sero, an QLED display that measures in at 43 inches.
The Samsung Sero can connect to a user's phone using NFC. Once connected, the content on the phone is displayed on the screen in a vertical format, making it ideal for sharing any in-app content for a more interactive experience. To further enhance the experience, the display also features integrated microphones, a 60-watt speaker, and Bixby support -- Samsung's virtual assistant.
While the average consumer might not find the Samsung Sero to be a necessary addition, it's unique format makes it great for events where social content is being pushed, and engagement with it is valued.
