Celebrity-Led Hand Washing Challenges

The #SafeHands Challenge is Circulating Instagram

Celebrities are using their platform to educate their followers about the importance of reducing the spread of Covid-19 -- the #SafeHands challenge is circulating Instagram to do just that, and celebrities like Selena Gomez and Arianna Huffington have jumped on board to encourage consumers to practice good hygiene.

Celebrities are posting brief clips of them washing their hands while offering some pointers for achieving the best clean. In the captions, the poster is tagging other celebrity friends, nominating them to also share their favorite hygienic practices with their followers. Selena Gomez nominated fellow celebrities Cardi B, Gigi Hadid, and Olivia Wilde.

The #SafeHands challenge is one of the many ways brands and those with large social followings are setting a positive example during the COVID-19 pandemic.
