Ryan Reynolds to Play His Third Hero in Seven Years

There is something about comic books that Ryan Reynolds seems to just not be able to turn away from. The Canadian actor has signed on to reprise his role as Deadpool from "X-Men Origins: Wolverine," as well as take a swing at portraying the cinematic version of the Green Lantern. 

"The Green Lantern" is slated for 2010, with "Deadpool" following in 2011. Add that to his role as Hannibal King in "Blade," and within seven years Ryan Reynolds, formerly known as Mr. Van Wilder, has hit the crime-fighting trifecta!
