rustic-Air Introduces a Capsule of Personal Clothing and Footwear

rustic-Air is often recognized for its captivating sneaker designs that are carefully made by hand and now the brand branches into the territory of clothing design. It prepares to launch its inaugural apparel capsule that boasts the same design language. It draws inspiration from one of the founders, Baba Diop, and his Senegalese heritage.

It explores inspiration from the other founder Luis Ruano as well and celebrates his Guatemalan upbringing. Every item is made entirely by hand in Oakland, California. There are fine details that are true to the bricolage ethos including the hand dye processes, hand-painted details, and hand-stitched accents. Due to the hand-made nature of the clothing and footwear, some items can take days to create.
