The Rum and Cola Float Uses a Pork Straw to Add a Smokey Flavor

After a hard day of work, the best way to relax is to sit back in your favorite recliner and sip on a rum and cola float. It carries all the punch of an alcoholic beverage with the sweet satisfaction of chilly ice cream.

However, there is something quite unparalleled about this drink and that is due to the addition of the bacon straw. The drinking device is made by wrapping bacon around a long skinny roll of foil, coating it in brown sugar and baking it in the oven. When everything is toasty brown, the foil is removed and you are left with a cylindrical slurping bacon wrap. The bacon adds a smokey and salty flavor to your rum and cola float that is unusually addicting.
