Eccentric Elastic Seating

The Rubberband Chair Has a Bit of a Bounce

Forget about traditional seating and get your hands on the Rubberband Chair. This colorfully eccentric elastic piece of furniture looks as playful as it does practical. It fact, thanks to its elasticity, it actually has a bit of a bounce to it.

Created by artist Preston Moeller, the Rubberband Chair is made up of 65,000 rubber bands, which have been bound to a wire frame. Although its flexible surface does look inviting, I feel as though the Rubberband Chair should be treated with respect as any art piece would be. I mean, it did take 336 hours to create.

That said, I don't think anyone would be able to resist at least a short period of contact with this vibrantly fun Rubberband Chair.
