Indian streaming and esports platform Rooter has entered a significant partnership with Chess.com, one of the world’s leading online chess platforms. With this new deal, Rooter seeks to tap into India’s thriving chess community and deliver an enriched streaming experience for fans of the game.

India has emerged as a global force in chess, with the International Chess Federation (FIDE) ranking fourth globally in average chess ELO ratings. The sport has witnessed an unprecedented surge in popularity, driven by the rise of grandmasters, digital platforms, and renewed public interest, making it an ideal sector for Rooter’s expansion.
