The Rolex Black Limited Edition Collection is Made from Recycled Pieces

The mastermind behind the Rolex Black Limited Edition collection is Alejandro Alcocer who -- fuelled by his passion for the luxury time tellers -- decided to create the collection by sourcing only from quality pieces manufactured between 1958 and 1990. Alcocer ogled the black Explorer One series in the late 60s that was created exclusively for the Royal British Navy based in South Africa. However, with only a rumored 500 of them made and a single one selling at auction for $162,000, he let the dream of owning one go.

What Alcocer has helped to create are an exquisite line of luxury watches that are extremely limited, but not out of reach. Created as a form of new classics, the Rolex Black Limited Edition watches are sure to tantalize aficionados of all kinds.
