The Addibot is a highly innovative robot that is essentially a 3D printer that is mounted onto a robot -- a robot that's totally capable of moving around.
What's unique about the Addibot is that because it is able to move around, it can print larger objects on pretty much any scale. This adds a level of flexibility that is lacking in typical 3D printing solutions.
Whereas traditional 3D printing involves creating the particular object within the workspace before then being removed for use, the Addibot takes a more streamlined approach by allowing the technology to work pretty much anywhere as long as there's a flat surface. This makes it perfect for use in a wide variety of environments and contexts, particularly anything to do with road engineering.
