The Leopard is a high-tech aero road bicycle developed by SpeedX, the company behind the SpeedForce gadget that combines a computer, headlight and handlebar stem in one contraption.
Set to be available for a low price of only $1,699, the SpeedX leopard is equipped with a hybrid stem/computer element that is called the Smart Control. This contraption includes a built-in 2.4-inch screen whose displays can be changed at the press of a button. A half-hour charge of the battery allows for up to 40 hours of use. The Smart Control computer enables cyclists to track things like distance, speed, inclination, calories burned, altitude and lap time.
Ultimately, this road bicycle shows how cycling can be a high-tech activity when cyclists are given easy access to advanced and easy to use cycling computers.
