Velotric is a company that may have only been around for less than two years, but the company is already making waves with the launch of a fabulous new smart e-bike that offers a range of features that will appeal to the urban cyclist.
The 'Thunder 1' is a step-over smart e-bike whose bevy of high-tech features are headed up by Velotric's proprietary 'Velopower E35+' drive system, which offers torque sensing for a streamlined and smooth ride whilst also not being noisy. Elsewhere, this particular smart e-bike works in conjunction with a smartphone app to offer features such as keyless access, GPS tracking and motion detection, with upcoming features said to include crash detection using the bike's embedded sensors.
This smart e-bike is available for $1,799 and can be procured in medium and large frame sizes.
