Following the success of its gelato-filled donuts sandwiches, Krispy Kreme Japan is rolling out a new collection of seasonal treats called the 'Ring Ring Summer' donuts. Playing on the word ring, the new donuts cleverly draw inspiration from round summer fruits.
The new Ring Ring Summer donut line-up consists of two fruity new pastries that come in the shape of seasonal fruit. The first is the Watermelon Donut, which is an Original Glazed Donut that has been decorated with colorful icing and edible seeds to look like the inside of a watermelon. The other seasonal treat available is the Lemon Glazed Donut, which consists of an Original Glazed Donut coated in lemon-flavored icing and finished with a round slice of lemon.
