I can't get my fill of surrealistic art and these Riikka Sornumen definitely tickle my craving for abstract imagery in just the right way. Just looking at the title of some of these illustrations like 'Six Bellybuttons' and 'Snakes on a Plain,' you'd totally know you're in for a crazy, eccentric feast for the eyes.

Riikka Sornumen is a Finnish artist and she's represented by Napa Illustrations. Her work reminds me of ancient Japanese drawings mixed with avant-garde sensibilities. My favorite of the bunch is the one featuring a wild-looking woman surrounded by little bunnies blowing on tissues.

Implications - Consumers enjoy looking at art illustrations because they provide viewers with euphoric escapist sensations. These feelings are a welcomed change from the daily stresses that first world citizens incur. Corporations may consider using surrealistic imagery in their advertising campaigns in order to garner consumer attention.
