The Ricoh WG-M1 is the latest addition to the WG series of rugged outdoorsy adventure cameras. This 14-megapixel camera targets the action camera segment of the camera market. It come equipped with a 1.5-inch LCD screen, wide angle lens and built-in WiFi.
This camera boasts air-tight construction that is waterproof up to a depth of 10 meters despite not having additional bulky protective housing. It is also shock-resistant to falls up to 2 meters and is cold-resistant to temperatures as low as -10 degrees Centigrade.
The camera is fitted with an ultra-wide angle 16.8-millimeter F2.8 lens which offers a 160-degree field of view while snapping stills, and 137 degrees when recording video.
The Ricoh WG-M1 camera is currently available for pre-order for $300. It will be available in orange and black options starting in October.
