Rivian Rewilding the Future Debuts New Borealis Look During Art Week Miami

Rivian Rewilding the Future is an immersive exhibition presented by electric vehicle manufacturer Rivian during Miami Art Week 2025. The installation marks the public debut of the new Borealis exterior color for the R1S and R1T models, a deep violet inspired by natural atmospheric light. Visitors encounter the vehicles within a multi-sensory environment that integrates scent, sound, and tactile materials to reflect outdoor terrain and environmental textures.

The exhibition also includes interactive workshops focused on recycled material creation, along with a landscape-based scent experience designed to simulate forest, alpine, and river environments. The vehicles are displayed as part of a wider storytelling framework that connects color, material, and atmosphere. The installation positions Rivian’s vehicle design within a broader narrative of nature-inspired mobility and sustainable outdoor exploration rather than a traditional automotive showcase format.
