Inside the King of Prussia mall, Timberland opened its new retail concept shop, which is being called the 'Tree Lab.'
The experiential, gallery-style setting is a dynamic one that is designed to be changed every six weeks, introducing the latest technologies from the brand like its FlyRoam collection, AeroCore energy system and SensorFlex comfort technology. Following the opening of the Tree Lab, Timberland has plans to open a greater number of "flex retail" stores such as this one.
Once inside the store, visitors of are invited to test showcased products and those of the legal drinking age may sample local craft beer from Tröegs Independent Brewing. Alternatively, consumers may also drink from a bottle of water that may be recycled into Timberland linings or shoelaces.
