With pens, pencils, watercolors and notebooks, artists Jordi Labanda, Dyna Moe,Andrea Arrigoni, Blue Logan and Antonio Marras have decided to remake ad campaigns in an artistic way. Their illustrations (featured in the gallery above) have reinterpreted the popular advertisements of D Magazine.
Antonio Marras, the creative director of Kenzo, is an alchemist who blends and combines elements from Japanese kimonos to the film noir of the 30s.
Implications - You will that notice famous brands such as Chanel, L'Oreal and Maybelline are among the cheeky advertisements. It wouldn't be surprising if one of the featured brands fell in love with this innovative and new marketing idea. Replacing the usual models with colorful and eye-catching renderings is a great way to capture the attention of potential consumers.
