Reebok Canada is Restoring Public Basketball Courts
Elena Rahman — October 27, 2021 — Marketing
Reebok Canada partnered with the City of Toronto's Parks, Forestry, and Recreation team to restore a local community basketball court in the city. The footwear brand is committed to providing all with fair access to physical activity, especially to underserved youth.
After much research, the collaborated team selected the MacGregor Playground in Toronto's West End as the restoration project. The brand refurbished the court to create a safe and accessible space for the community to play basketball. Moreover, Reebok joined forces with Adam "The Illustrator" Bosley and his Nothin' But Net initiative to replace 200 basketball court settings across the GTA. Bosley's wrapped up his project by installing the final two nets on the newly-renovated MacGregor Playground Court, which happens to be in his neighborhood.
