Artist Jane Lee is Behind this Blood-Red Art Gallery

Talented artist Jane Lee is behind this gruesome-looking red art gallery. Lee covers the walls and floors of a white gallery room with clumps of stringy red paint. At first glance, this gallery looks almost like a bloody crime scene. The clumps of red on the floor resemble intestines, which is enough to make viewers squirm -- or at the very least, it will make them feel uncomfortable.

The pools of red found throughout this gallery come in different consistencies. The walls and floors are lightly splashed with red in some areas, and contain heavy chucks of red goo in other spots.

The artist attempts to examine the practice of contemporary art through her own use of contemporary styles. Lee is widely known for her use of unconventional materials, and it seems that this exhibit is no exception.
