This recreated Hotline Bling video made by University of British Columbia (UBC) students previews what will be an onslaught of videos that will be sent to Drake. The project sees one video a minute sent directly to Drake's Twitter account for 12 hours straight.
The invasive project by UBC students is an effort to get the Canadian rapper to perform at the university at the end of the year. A recreated set was built that mimics the music video and showcased groups of students showing off their best Drake impressions. Many students decided to impersonate the famous rapper, while others added their own flare to the now iconic dance moves. Don't be surprised to see other universities unleashing their peppy school spirit on the Internet with similar versions.
