These Realistic Drawings Are Difficult to Differentiate From the Real Thing
Mishal Omar — July 5, 2016 — Art & Design
This Brazilian artist's realistic drawings are so detailed that at first glance, they truly look like delicate pieces of jewelry.
Designer and illustrator Helena Rochah has a talent for creating extremely realistic drawings and she focuses most of her work onto recreating various forms of diamond rings. Using little more than pencils, pencil crayons and a few watercolors, the artist recreates beautiful diamond rings -- including ones that are similar to classic Tiffany designs. Her diamonds, yellow diamonds and vibrant red rubies are captured extremely well, with each detail and reflection on the multi-faceted gemstones looking like the real thing.
The artist managed to capture light and reflection in a way that most would find impossible, making her realistic drawings truly hypnotic.
