This Ready-to-Wear Fall fashion collection from Cut25 by Yigal Azrouël features sharp, boxy elements that cover up the female form—a sharp contrast to the garments that Azrouël created for choreographer Emery LeCrone as part of the Works & Process series at the Guggenheim museum.
One of the most innovative aspects of the collection was the use of tweed woven together with reflective glass finished tweed. The cozy, practical Fall fashion looks are long and linear, incorporating geometric patches in unexpected places, coming back time and time again to asymmetrical forms. Although there are a few short dresses in the RTW Fall collection from Azrouël, the sharp cuts make them seem less feminine than you might expect.
