Loft-Equipped Camper Vans

Rangeline 21PL Adds a Powered Loft Bed and Flexible Cargo Space

Rangeline 21PL is a Class B motorhome from Airstream built on a Ram ProMaster 3500 platform. Measuring 20 feet 11 inches long, the camper introduces a powered loft bed that lowers from the ceiling to expand sleeping capacity to four people.

The loft bed measures 74 by 57 inches and includes a 4-inch memory foam mattress and safety nets, while the rear lounge converts into a second bed measuring 74 by 53 inches. Swiveling front seats and an extendable dining table create an additional living area at the front of the vehicle.

The rear seating area uses Airstream's Smartbench system mounted on an L-track floor, allowing the interior to be reconfigured for passengers, sleeping arrangements or gear storage. The camper also includes a kitchen with a cooktop and sink, a wet bath with a macerating toilet, a refrigerator-freezer combination and a microwave. Off-grid equipment consists of a 3.5-kWh lithium battery, a 200W solar panel, a 3,000W inverter and a 2.8kW generator. Two skylights, a manual 13-foot awning with integrated lighting and updated suspension components round out the package.
